 Teneo High Jump Festival Information and Registration

Date: Saturday July 18th, 2009 - High Jump Festival

         Sunday July 19th, 2009 - Festival Clinic/Camp

Note: The Triple Jump Festival has been CANCELLED

Competition time: The time schedule for the events will be posted one week prior to the event, and will depend on the number of jumpers.

Start time/order of events: Registration begins at 9am both days. 

Competitor & Camper entry fee:

$20 High Jump Festival Competition ONLY - July 18 ($30 if mailed after July 7th or at the door)

$80 next day Festival Camp/Clinic with the elite athletes ONLY – July 19 ($95 if mailed after July 10th or at the door, if there is space available- call first)

$90 for BOTH Festival Competition AND next day Festival Camp/Clinic – July 18 & 19 ($110 if mailed after July 10th or at the door, if there is space available- call first)

$40 for Coaches (Festival Camp/Clinic) ($60 if mailed after July 10th or at the door, if there is space available- call first)

General public entrance fee: $5 (Kids under 12 years of age are free)

The Teneo High Jumps Festival will also be broadcast online at www.teneojumpsfestival.com & www.youtube.com/kangarootrackclub Over 200 colleges and universities, high schools from every state, and visitors from every country have logged in to the website since June 2007. This is a great opportunity for athletes to get exposure.

Teneo High Jump Festival Competition Information

Awards: Every athlete will get a T-shirt and top 3 athletes will be awarded trophies.

Who can Jump? Anyone that wants to attempt clearing the opening height.

Youth boys and girls all comers (exhibition) & Men Masters: Open Starting height, they will start together. Starting time,10am please be there 30-45 minutes before to warm up properly.

HS Girls and HS Boys:

Bar progression for HS Girls: 4'4" -4'6" - 4'8" - 4'10" - 5'0" - 5'2" - 5'4" - 5'5" - 5'6" - 5'7" - 5'8".....

Bar progression for HS Boys: 5'4" - 5'6" - 5'8" - 5'10" - 6'0" - 6'2" - 6'4" - 6'6" - 6'8" - 6'10".....

Women Elite & College (Bar progression in meters): 1.40 - 1.45 -1.50 – 1.55 – 1.60 – 1.65 – 1.70 – 1.75 – 1.78 – 1.81 – 1.84 – 1.87 – 1.90

Men Elite & College (Bar progression in meters): 1.80 - 1.85 - 1.90 - 1.95 - 2.00 - 2.05 - 2.10 - 2.15 - 2.20 - 2.23 - 2.26 - 2.29 - 2.32 ......

 

Teneo Triple Jump Festival (CANCELLED)

Awards: Every athlete will get a T-shirt and top 3 athletes will be awarded trophies.

HS Girls and HS Boys: The athlete will choose the board that they want to jump from. Every jumpers will get 3 attempts in the semifinals and the top 8 jumpers will advance to the finals (3 more attempts).

Open Women*:  Board (TBD)

Open Men*: Board  (TBD)

* College athletes can jump Unattached
